LUPUS
Nine out of ten people who have Lupus are women and the disease usually strikes during the childbearing years. We have members that struggle with lupus everyday. This is a disease that many people ignore and do not know how to treat. It is true that there is no cure for lupus but the Alliance for Lupus Research is working toward finding a cure for this deadly disease. DSSC understand the struggle you face with everyday activities. We have formed a support group and we meet the second Saturday of every month. This group will support and teach you how to overcome daily struggles. It is time that we stand together to fight this disease called LUPUS. We are determined to win this war through prayer, love, and empowerment. Dr. Noelle Casses- Williams will also be at the meetings giving her expert advise.
